Team Leadership, Mentoring and Management

Construction and Project Management

  • Directly responsible for overseeing and/or managing capital buildout and operational tenant improvement projects ranging $500K to $28M in total costs

  • Participate in full project lifecycle from programming to occupancy

  • Provide analysis and scoring of vendor RFP proposals and documents to determine which is best for project needs

  • ​Review coordinated construction documents throughout each phase of the project

  • Lead, manage, and collaborate with general contractor, architect and design team, internal partners (IT, HR, Finance, Governance Committee, Facility Management and Senior Leadership), and outsourced service providers throughout all phases

  • ​Manage project budget, vendor invoices, and financial submittals and payment requests; create financial reports for senior leadership

  • Lead coordinated team meetings with project stakeholders; provide regular updates to senior leadership, governance committees and staff

  • ​Perform field surveys for partial project completion approvals and final punch list creation, monitoring and completion approval

  • Ensure compliance with universal and regional-specific building codes, permitting and regulatory requirements

  • Ensure compliance with project performance goals and create and maintain project control documents

  • Create move management documents and coordinate schedules with construction schedules

Workplace Strategy and Experience 

  • Responsible for space planning oversight of real estate portfolios from 1M square feet up to 14.5M square feet of mixed-use facilities and warehouses

  • Provide strategic building occupancy and utilization reports, and present analyzed data to inform building occupancy space planning scenarios and moves

  • Capture utilization of spaces and provide analysis reports to senior leadership to support business-making real estate decisions

  • ​Guide creation of workplace change management programs and communications to inform and support staff

  • Facilitate business-line programming sessions to capture workplace needs, preferences and requests

  • Create, assign and update program space assignments and allocations using BOMA standards and guidelines

  • Create, submit and analyze workplace experience surveys to address and action actual or perceived workplace deficiencies

  • Perform scheduled workplace walkthroughs of offices to record physical/structural changes and/or staff or business line shifts

  • Maintain space and utilization reports for historical review and analysis of spaces to support growth and or closure of offices

  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, and business line senior leadership on forecasting and business strategies to ensure real estate portfolio can support future anticipated growth​

Interior Design Concepts and Coordination

  • Involvement in client presentations, RFP responses and service contract reviews and approvals

  • Lead programming and schematic design phases with clients

  • Coordinate interior design drawings with architectural, engineering, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, security, information technology, specialty contractor and other drawings as needed

  • Provide base CAD drawings to outsourced vendors as needed

  • Provide code reviews and approvals for interior packages

  • Select, evaluate, specify and provide technical packages for fixtures, finishes and equipment

  • Review and approve alternates to specified products as needed

  • Create custom furniture and signage documents, and partner with manufacturers to ensure products met design specifications

  • Create signage packages, nomenclature, custom icons and signage location and installation drawings 

  • Create furniture packages, furniture tag drawings and specifications, and location and installation drawings ​​

  • Executed, recorded and monitored partial completion and final punch list walkthroughs with general contractor, subcontractors and other supply vendors (signage, furniture, biophilia, etc.)​
